Voltmeter Reads Too High (Van)

  1. If voltmeter gauge constantly reads in red area, check battery voltage. Check for overcharging condition. Repair charging system malfunction and recheck voltmeter gauge.
  2. If battery voltage is normal, apply 12 volts directly to voltmeter gauge. If voltmeter does not respond correctly, replace voltmeter gauge.
