Oil Pressure Gauge (Commercial Van): Notes

Some Commercial Van models with gasoline engines may show high oil pressure. This occurs on upper range of oil pressure gauge. Oil pressure gauge will read correctly in mid and lower range.

Excessive oil pressure may be caused by an incorrect oil pressure sender. Some models are equipped with a 60 lb. sender instead of the correct 80 lb. sender. The incorrect sender is stamped with the No. 563. The correct sender is stamped with the No. 178.
