Description & Operation: Voltmeter

Voltmeter gauge on instrument panel measures voltage of charging system with engine running, and measures battery voltage with ignition on and engine not running. When engine is running, state of charge should be higher than when engine is off. If indicator enters either Red zone, charging system malfunction is indicated.
