Gauge Constantly Reads 80 Or More
- Check for open circuit between gauge and sending unit by disconnecting lead at sending unit. Connect lead to ground, and note reading on gauge.
- If oil pressure gauge reads zero, replace oil pressure gauge sending unit. If oil pressure gauge still reads 80 psi or beyond, find open wire between gauge and sending unit.
