Heated Oxygen Sensor (Ho2S)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Plymouth Voyager, 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan, 1995 Dodge Caravan, and 1995 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

To test heating element, measure resistance between the 2 White wire terminals on sensor. Ohmmeter reading should be 5-7 ohms. If ohmmeter does not indicate 5-7 ohms, replace HO2S. To test sensing circuit, see TESTS W/CODES - 3.8L article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
