Heated Oxygen Sensor (Ho2S)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Plymouth Voyager, 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan, and 1995 Dodge Caravan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

To test heating element, measure resistance between the 2 White wire terminals on sensor. Ohmmeter reading should be 5-7 ohms. If ohmmeter does not indicate 5-7 ohms, replace HO2S. To test sensing circuit, see TESTS W/CODES - 3.3L GASOLINE article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
