Left & Right Impact Sensors: Installation

- If stud plate needs to be replaced, install NEW push nut on stud. See Figure . Mount sensor with arrow pointing toward front of vehicle. Install NEW nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Use only nuts supplied with sensor.
- Connect sensor connector, ensuring locking tab is engaged. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT connect negative battery cable at this time. Perform system operation check to ensure system functions properly. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
