Air Bag Control Module (ACM): Removal

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
ACM is located behind floor console. See Fig 1 . Remove 2 floor console-to-instrument panel support bracket bolts. Slide cup holder out. Remove 2 upper console retaining screws behind cup holder.

Remove console by sliding console rearward and up. Remove ACM mounting screws. Disconnect ACM connectors and remove ACM.
