Valve Lifters: Removal

  1. Remove cylinder head. See CYLINDER HEAD . Remove bolts, yoke retainer and aligning yoke. See Figure.
  2. Using Valve Lifter Remover (C-4129), remove valve lifter. Mark valve lifter location for reassembly reference.
