Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Removal

  1. Remove engine. Refer to ENGINE . Remove valve lifters. Refer to VALVE LIFTERS . Remove timing chain. Refer to TIMING CHAIN .
  2. Remove camshaft thrust plate from front of camshaft. Remove camshaft, using care not to damage camshaft lobes and camshaft bearings.
