Front Cover Oil Seal: Installation

- Install front cover oil seal on crankshaft with spring side of oil seal toward the engine. Using Oil Seal Installer (C-4992), install front cover oil seal until oil seal is even with surface of timing chain cover.
- Using Plate (L-4524), thrust bearing/washer and bolt, install vibration damper. Remove plate, thrust bearing/washer and bolt. Install and tighten vibration damper bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
