Piston Rings

Ensure ring end gap and side clearances are within specification. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGS SPECIFICATIONS table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. Install piston rings on piston with identification mark on ring toward top of piston. Ensure piston ring end gaps are properly positioned. See Fig 1.
