Torque Specifications

(1) Tighten camshaft bearing cap bolts to 85 INCH lbs. (9.6 N.m) in the following sequence: No. 3, No. 2, No. 1 and then No. 4. camshaft bearing cap. Repeat procedure and tighten bolts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 N.m).
(2) With cylinder head cold, tighten cylinder head bolts to specification in sequence, using 3 steps. See Figure.
(3) Tighten nuts to specification in sequence. See Figure.
(4) Coat bolts with oil before installing. Tighten bolts in to specification in sequence. See Figure.
(5) Tighten bolts to specification in sequence. See Figure.
(6) Tighten bolts to specification in sequence. See Figure.
