Valve Guides

  1. Check valve guide I.D. and valve stem-to-valve guide oil clearance. Clearance must be within specification. See CYLINDER HEAD  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
  2. Measure valve guide protrusion from top of valve guide to spring seat area on cylinder head. Valve guide protrusion should be within specification. See CYLINDER HEAD  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. No service procedure is available from manufacturer.
