Removal & Disassembly

  1. Remove timing belt and crankshaft sprocket. Refer to TIMING BELT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove oil pan and pick-up tube.
  2. Remove oil pump-to-cylinder block bolts. Note bolt location and length for installation reference. Remove oil pump and gasket. Disassemble oil pump. See Figure. Remove crankshaft front seal from oil pump case.
