Fuel Pressure Release

CAUTION:
Fuel system is under pressure. Pressure must be released before servicing fuel system components.
- Loosen fuel tank cap to release pressure. Disconnect throttle body injector wiring harness from engine wiring harness. Connect jumper wire from terminal No. 1 of injector harness to ground. See Fig 1.
- Connect another jumper wire to terminal No. 2 of injector harness. Touch jumper wire to positive battery terminal for no more than 5 seconds to release fuel pressure. Remove jumper wires, and reconnect wiring harness.
