Cylinder Head: Inspection

Check cylinder head warpage. Warpage must not exceed specification. See CYLINDER HEAD table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. If cylinder head or camshaft is serviced, ensure oversized camshaft is used in cylinder head with oversized bores. See SPECIAL ENGINE MARKS under ENGINE IDENTIFICATION .

CAUTION: Use proper cylinder head bolts when installing cylinder head. Cylinder head bolt diameter is 11 mm and is identified by "11" on bolt head. The 10-mm bolts will thread into 11-mm bolt hole, but cylinder block threads will be stripped.
