Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Inspection

Inspect camshaft and cylinder head for damage. Measure camshaft lobe on outer edges and in rocker contact surface areas. Replace camshaft if camshaft lobe wear exceeds .010" (.25 mm).
NOTE:
If an oversized camshaft is used, cylinder head must also have oversized camshaft bores.
