Test 9A - No Chime With Turn Signals On

- If a speedometer problem exists, go to TEST 36A. If a speedometer problem does not exist, turn ignition on, engine off. Check turn signal operation. If turn signals do not operate properly, see INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT section. If turn signals operate properly, go to next step.
- Turn left turn signal on. Using scan tool, read left turn signal status. If scan tool does not display OPEN then CLOSED, go to TEST 9B. If scan tool displays OPEN then CLOSED, go to next step.
- Turn right turn signal on. Using scan tool, read right turn signal status. If scan tool does not display OPEN then CLOSED, go to TEST 9C. If scan tool displays OPEN then CLOSED, system is okay at this time.
