Test 81A - LF Door (With RKE) Fails To Unlock From Any Switch

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:
RKE module may be accessed by carefully prying each end of instrument panel top cover and sliding cover forward to disengage front clips.
- Gain access to RKE module. RKE module is located under instrument panel top cover, behind information center. Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "A" (Pink wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Check voltage on RKE module Black connector terminal "E" (Pink/Violet wire). Press door lock switch to UNLOCK position while observing scan tool voltage. If voltage is less than 10 volts while switch is in UNLOCK position, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace RKE module.
