Test 55A - Door Ajar Warning Lamp

section at the end of this article. Perform TEST VER-1B after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:
Ensure all doors, including liftgate, are aligned and adjusted properly.
- Close all doors. Using scan tool, read left front door ajar switch status. If scan tool displays LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to TEST 26B. If scan tool does not display LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to next step.
- Open left front door. If scan tool does not display LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to TEST 26A. If scan tool displays LF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to next step.
- Read right front door ajar switch status. If scan tool displays RF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to test 27B. If scan tool does not display RF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to next step.
- Open right front door. If scan tool does not display RF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to TEST 27A. If scan tool displays RF DOOR AJAR CLOSED, go to next step.
- Read side door ajar switch status. If scan tool displays SIDE DR AJAR CLOSED, go to TEST 28B. If scan tool does not display SIDE DR AJAR CLOSED, go to TEST 28A.
