WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Plymouth Voyager, 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan, 1995 Dodge Caravan, and 1995 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section at the end of this article. Perform TEST VER-1B after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE: CHECK GAUGES lamp will turn on if coolant temperature, oil pressure or charging system problem exists.
  1. If a coolant temperature, oil pressure or charging system problem exists, repair mechanical problem as necessary. If no mechanical problem exists, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect MIC connector. Turn ignition on, engine off. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on MIC connector terminal No. 10 (Violet/Brown wire). If voltage is less than one volt, repair open Violet/Brown wire. If voltage is more than one volt, go to next step.
  3. Check voltage on MIC connector terminal No. 9 (White/Black wire). If voltage is less than one volt, repair open White/Black wire. If voltage is more than one volt, go to next step.
  4. Check voltage on MIC connector terminal No. 11 (Dark Blue/Yellow wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to TEST 31B. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  5. Check voltage on MIC connector terminal No. 1 (Pink wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace MIC. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step.
  6. Remove and inspect IOD fuse from Power Distribution Center (PDC). If fuse is open, go to TEST 31C. If fuse is okay, reinstall fuse and go to next step.
  7. Check voltage on IOD fuse connector (Black/Yellow wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire between IOD fuse connector and MIC. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair or replace PDC.
