Test 50A - Faulty Base Mic Warning Lamp

  1. If CHECK GAUGES lamp stays on and all gauges are inoperative, go to TEST 54A. If CHECK GAUGES lamp stays on and all gauges are operative, go to next step.
    NOTE: Scan tool will not actuate oil lamp.
  2. Using scan tool, actuate all cluster lamps. If any lamp fails to light, go to TEST 52A. If lamps light, stop actuation test and go to next step.
  3. Base MIC diagnostics are separated into 7 categories. Verify customer complaint and identify problem area before performing appropriate test. See BASE MIC LAMP PROBLEM DIRECTORY table below.
