DRB Diagnostic Mode

  1. Turn ignition off. Attach DRB to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located in engine compartment, near PCM.
  2. Start engine (if possible). On A/T models, shift transmission lever through all positions, ending in Park. On all models, turn A/C switch on and then off (if equipped).
  3. Turn engine off. Without starting engine again, turn ignition on. Enter CHARGING MENU. See DRB TEST FUNCTIONS. At CHARGING MENU, press "2" (READ FAULTS) key. Press ENTER key. Read fault messages and perform appropriate test. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
