Removal & Installation (2.5L)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove generator drive belt and generator mounting bolts. Remove pivot bolt, and position generator aside to access wire connectors.
- Remove B+ terminal nut, field terminal nuts and ground/wire harness hold-down nuts. Remove wire connectors. Remove generator from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
