Removal & Installation (Frame-Mounted Check Valve)

  1. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PURGING . Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Disconnect fuel tube fittings from either end of check valve. See Fig 1. Note direction of valve mounting, and remove check valve. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check fuel tube fittings for proper tightness using go/no-go gauge. See FUEL TUBES & FITTINGS .
