Removal & Installation (Frame-Mounted Check Valve)

  1. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PURGING  . Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Disconnect fuel tube fittings from either end of check valve. See Fig 1 . Note direction of valve mounting, and remove check valve. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check fuel tube fittings for proper tightness using go/no-go gauge. See FUEL TUBES & FITTINGS  .
