Transmission Temperature Sensor (A/T Models): Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Transmission temperature sensor is located in the transmission oil cooler line at front of transmission case.
    CAUTION: When removing transmission temperature sensor, ensure transmission oil cooler line is held with wrench to prevent damage to transmission oil cooler line.
  2. Ensure area around transmission temperature sensor is clean. Disconnect electrical connector at transmission temperature sensor. Hold transmission oil cooler line while unscrewing transmission temperature sensor.
