Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cables. Remove starter. Disconnect electrical connector at fuel heater. Fuel heater is located below fuel filter/water separator. See Figure.
  2. Unscrew prefilter from fuel heater. Prefilter is located on bottom of fuel heater and contains a hex area which can be used for removal and installation of prefilter. Remove fuel heater from housing. To install, reverse removal procedure.
