Fuel Pump: Removal

Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Using a hammer and a brass drift, carefully tap lock ring counterclockwise to release pump. Remove fuel pump from tank. On AWD models, fuel pump is secured to tank with strap clamp.
