Intermittent Failures

Intermittent failures may cause Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to flicker or glow and go out after intermittent fault goes away. However, PCM memory will retain corresponding DTC. If related fault does not reoccur within a certain time frame, DTC will be erased from PCM memory. Intermittent failures can be caused by a sensor, connector, or wiring related problem.
