Diagnostic Procedures

NOTE: When using diagnostic tests, DO NOT skip any steps in test procedure, or incorrect diagnosis may result.

To obtain DTCs, see ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS . If DTCs are not present and/or using Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) or generic scan tool, proceed to one of following tests.

Go to TEST VER-1 if engine runs but has performance problems. Perform TEST VER-1 after repairs.
Go to NTC-1A if driveability problem exists and no DTCs are present. Perform TEST VER-1 after repairs.
