Test NTC-14A - Checking EGR System

EGR solenoid and EGR valve are located under intake manifold. Start engine. Allow engine to idle. Using scan tool, perform EGR OFF test. Record Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor reading. Using scan tool, perform EGR FLOW test. Record MAP sensor reading. If a 0.5 in. Hg difference or more exists between readings, EGR system is operating properly. Test is complete. If difference is not as specified, go to TEST NTC-18A.
