Test NS-3A - Correcting Fuel Pressure Loss

NOTE: A fuel injector control circuit is shorted to ground causing engine to flood.
  1. Using scan tool, read DTCs. If any Fuel Injector (FI) DTCs are present, go to TEST TC-37A and perform appropriate test. If no injector DTCs are present, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect and inspect PCM connector. Repair as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1. If connector is okay, disconnect each FI connector. Go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, test each FI driver circuit for short to ground. See FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION table below. If any driver circuit is shorted to ground, repair appropriate circuit. Perform TEST VER-1. If no driver circuits are shorted to ground, replace PCM. Perform TEST VER-1.

(5) White/Black wire on AB body; Pink/Black wire on AN body; Gray wire on BR body.
(6) White/Red wire on AB body; Light Green/Black wire on AN body; Brown/Dark Blue wire on BR body.
(7) White/Tan wire on AB body.
(8) White/Gray wire on AB body; Dark Blue/Gray wire on AN body; Red/Yellow wire on BR body.
