Test NS-2B - Inspecting Fuel Relays & Solenoids

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect and inspect high pressure fuel shutoff solenoid relay connector. Repair as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1. If connector is okay, turn ignition on. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on high pressure fuel shutoff solenoid relay connector, ignition 12-volt feed circuit (Dark Blue wire on AB and AN bodies; Light Green/Black wire on BR body). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Dark Blue wire, Dark Blue/White wire or Light Green/Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1.
  2. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace high pressure fuel shutoff solenoid relay with a known-good relay. Attempt to start engine. If engine does not start, repair open in Dark Blue/Yellow wire. Perform TEST VER-1. If engine starts, replace fuel high pressure fuel shutoff solenoid relay. Perform TEST VER-1.
