Test NS-4C - Correcting Fuel Delivery

  1. If top of fuel pressure regulator is leaking, replace fuel pressure regulator. Perform TEST VER-1. If top of fuel pressure regulator is not leaking, turn ignition off. Remove fuel injector. Inspect fuel injector seals for damage.
  2. If seals are damaged, replace fuel injector seals. Perform TEST VER-1. If seals are not damaged, disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector. Put scan tool in ohmmeter mode.
  3. Using scan tool, check resistance of PCM connector terminal No. 16 (Light Blue wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in appropriate wire. Perform TEST VER-1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace fuel injector. Perform TEST VER-1.
