Driver-Side Air Bag Module & Steering Wheel: Installation

- If replacing a deployed air bag module, replace clockspring. See CLOCKSPRING. Position steering wheel on steering column. Ensure flats on steering wheel hub fit formations on inside of clockspring.
- Ensure wires do not get pinched under steering wheel. Install steering wheel retaining nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
- Connect air bag module wire to air bag module. Install air bag module, and tighten bolts to specification. Connect cruise control wires to switches. Install switches.
