Removal (3.9L, 5.2L & 5.9L Except Diesel)

- Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Impact sensors are mounted on left and right inner fender extensions, behind grille opening reinforcement. Remove air dam to gain access to left impact sensor. Remove screws attaching impact sensor to front wheelhouse extension. Remove sensor. Disconnect impact sensor electrical connector without removing tape holding harness to connector.
