Wiper Motor Inoperative Testing

  1. Turn ignition to RUN position and wiper switch to HI position. Connect test light between White wire at wiper motor connector C248 and ground. See Figure . If test light illuminates, go to step 2). If test light does not illuminate, check wiper fuse or repair open in White wire between wiper motor connector C277 and fuse block.
  2. Connect a fused jumper wire from Black wire at wiper switch connector C259 to ground. If wiper motor runs, locate and repair open between wiper switch connector C259 and ground. If wiper motor fails to run, replace wiper motor.
