WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1991 GMC Pickup, 1991 GMC Cab & Chassis, 1991 GMC C3500 HD, 1991 Chevrolet Pickup, and 1991 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis. Fuel gauge is an electrical instrument which measures current flow from variable-resistance fuel gauge sending unit in fuel tank. When fuel level in tank is high, fuel gauge sending unit resistance is high. Fuel sending unit is located on or near top of fuel tank. Some units use short connector lead, while others have harness connected directly to unit.
