Light Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Check for burned-out bulb. If bulb is okay, check for open in Dark Green wire from cluster connector A14 to ground terminal of ignition switch. If wire is okay, check for voltage to bulb socket.
  2. If voltage is NOT present, problem is in coolant temperature gauge circuit board power circuit to CHECK GAGES light driver. Repair/replace temperature gauge and circuit as necessary. Light driver is an integral part of coolant temperature gauge circuit board. Replace defective instrument cluster if necessary.
