- Check secondary ignition and timing.
- Ensure fuel pressure is 90-140 psi (621-965 kPa).
- Check fuel injectors.
- Check coolant temperature sensor.
- Check throttle position sensor calibration.
- Check manifold absolute pressure sensor calibration.
- Check oxygen sensor operation (switching).
- Check oxygen sensor heater operation.
- Check idle air control motor operation.
- Check PCM power and ground circuits.
- Check EGR system operation.
- Check for vacuum leaks.
- Check engine mechanical condition.
