Fuel Shutdown Solenoid (Lever Pin Does Not Move Up At All)

- Disconnect solenoid electrical connector. While holding ignition switch in START position, measure voltage at Red/Violet wire terminal of solenoid connector (this wire leads to the fuel shutdown solenoid relay).
- If battery voltage is present, replace solenoid. If battery voltage is not present, check fuel shutdown solenoid relay. See FUEL SHUTDOWN SOLENOID RELAY under RELAYS . If relay is okay, repair Red/Violet wire between relay and solenoid.
