Rear Disc Rotor - 12" Full-Floating Axle: Installation

  1. Install hub and rotor assembly. Install washer and adjusting nut. See Figure. Using Wheel Bearing Nut Wrench (J-25510), tighten adjusting nut to 50 ft. lbs. (68 N.m) while turning hub and rotor assembly. Back off adjusting nut 1/8 turn.
  2. Install lock washer and lock nut finger tight. Bend lock washer tab over adjusting nut flat. Tighten lock nut to 250 ft. lbs. (339 N.m). Bend lock washer long tab over lock nut flat. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
