Removal (9 3/4" & 10 1/2" Axle With Disc Brakes)

  1. Remove rear hub and rotor assembly. See REAR DISC ROTOR - 9 3/4" & 10 1/2" FULL-FLOATING AXLE  or REAR DISC ROTOR - 12" FULL-FLOATING AXLE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using a long drift and hammer, drive out inner bearing race, inner bearing and oil seal from outboard to inboard side of hub.
  2. Remove retaining ring from inside of hub, inboard of outer bearing. Using Handle (J-8092) and Outer Bearing Race Remover/Installer (J-24426), drive out outer bearing race from outboard to inboard side of hub.
