Digital Ratio Adapter Controller (DRAC)

CAUTION: Static electricity can destroy integrated circuits within DRAC. Before servicing DRAC, ground yourself and the work area to discharge stored electricity.

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Unplug instrument panel harness from DRAC. See DRAC MODULE LOCATIONS TABLE under VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) TEST & DIGITAL RATIO ADAPTER CONTROLLER (DRAC) TEST. Remove DRAC retaining screws and remove DRAC. See Fig 1 and Fig 2. To install, reverse removal procedure.
