Gauge Reads Low Or No Pressure

Check oil level and add oil if necessary. Test oil pressure with manual gauge and adapter. If oil pressure reading is good on manual gauge tester, disconnect lead at sending unit. Turn ignition on. If gauge still reads low, check for short in Tan wire. If wire is okay, replace oil pressure gauge. If gauge reads high with sending unit lead disconnected, replace sending unit.
