Shackle: Service and Repair

Fig. 8 Leaf Spring & Shackle Mounting:

1. Remove leaf spring as previously described.
2. Remove shackle nut, washers and bolt, then the shackle, Fig. 8.
3. Press center sleeve and bushing out of shackle, if necessary.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Press in new center sleeve and bushing, if removed.
