Parking Brake - "S" Series

With service brakes correctly adjusted, raise vehicle until both rear wheels are off ground. Loosen equalizer adjusting nut. Apply parking brake 2 notches on 2WD models, (3 notches on 4WD models), from fully released position.
Tighten adjusting nut until wheels cannot be rotated forward without excessive force. Loosen adjustment until there is moderate drag when wheels are rotated in forward direction.
Release parking brake and ensure that there is no drag when wheels are turned in either direction.
