Lumina APV, Silhouette & Trans Sport

  1. Ensure parking brake is released. Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels. Rotate adjusting screw until clearance between brake drum and shoes is.050" (1.27 mm). Use brake drum diameter gauge to determine clearance.
  2. Install brake drum. Install wheels. Operate vehicle for several forward and reverse stops while firmly applying brakes. Repeat procedure until ample brake pedal reserve is obtained.
